Rutherford County School Board Zone 6
I served our country for 15 years in the United States Army and am a Decorated Combat Veteran. Now I am asking for your help to enable me to continue my record of service for our communities and families.
The main reason that I am running is because our county needs a voice on the School Board that understands the community and feels the impact of decisions that are made on parents and children. It is essential to our community that important issues get addressed and discussed with the input from the community. When I win, the citizens within Rutherford County will have the ability to consult with me about issues and concerns. I understand that I am a voice representing the average citizen within our community.
Advocacy is, according to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, the act or process of advocating or supporting a cause or proposal. To me advocacy means to do something to create positive change in our community. I am advocating that we need to change the way Rutherford County School Board works by bringing it back to being family and community focused.
The Rutherford County School Board is in need of more people that make decisions based around our communities and children, and not big business. Hopefully I have gained your trust and support as a citizen within our community to win the election on August 5th.
Zone 6 is made up of County Commission Precincts 13, 15 and 16 and the voting precincts are located at Cason Lane Academy, SportsCOM, Central Middle School, Bellwood School, and Mitchell-Nielson Elementary School.
